The most followed Gujarati Instagram creator is folk singer Geeta Rabari with 4.81 million followers, ahead of Kinjal Dave at 3.12 million and Jignesh Barot at 2.12 million. Outside music, Dev Raval leads comedy with 1.62 million, Sanjay Raval leads speaking with 1.33 million, and Nehas Cook Book leads food with 1.19 million. Every follower count on this page was scraped directly from the live profile on 29 July 2026.
There is a pattern in Gujarati creator data that nobody talks about, and it only shows up when you put Instagram and YouTube side by side. Geeta Rabari has 4.81 million followers on Instagram and 2.56 million subscribers on YouTube. Kirtidan Gadhvi has 2.10 million against 937 thousand. Aditya Gadhvi has 1.72 million against 896 thousand. Every folk performer on this list is roughly twice as big on Instagram as on YouTube, and every teacher on this list is the exact opposite. Neha of Nehas Cook Book has 2.79 million subscribers and 1.19 million followers. Sheetal has 1.72 million subscribers and 237 thousand followers.
That split tells you what each platform is actually for in Gujarati. Instagram is where a face becomes famous and where a Navratri tour gets sold. YouTube is where a forty minute dayro or a kopra pak recipe gets watched all the way through. This page ranks twenty five creators on the first of those platforms only. Every follower count, post count and verification badge below came off a live scrape of the profile on 29 July 2026, and every creator was checked for publishing language before being allowed in.

How this list was built
Candidates were assembled from eight Gujarati content categories, comedy and sketch, garba and folk, food, fitness, travel inside Gujarat, money and business, and Gujarati literature, then put through three filters. First, the account had to be scraped live on 29 July 2026 through an Instagram profile scraper, and the follower count, post count and verification badge had to come from that scrape rather than from an analytics blog or a news article. Second, the creator had to publish in Gujarati or about Gujarat, checked by reading the two most recent captions on each profile. That test removed Bhumir Raval at 416 thousand followers and Rutvik Dhagiya at 444 thousand, both Gujarat rooted but captioning entirely in Hindi or English, and it removed Foodie Gujarati at 656 thousand for the same reason. Third, accounts whose scrape returned a restriction rather than a follower number were dropped rather than estimated, which is why Jigardan Gadhavi is absent despite being one of the best known garba voices in the state. Nothing on this page was rounded up, guessed, or carried over from a previous list.
Garba, folk and the Navratri economy
This is the category that owns Gujarati Instagram outright. Eight of the eleven creators above one million followers on this page are singers, and the reason is structural. A garba clip needs eleven seconds to work, a tour date needs a swipe up, and Navratri turns the whole state into a ticketed event. Instagram is built for exactly that and YouTube is not.
1Geeta Rabari
Geeta Rabari is the most followed Gujarati creator of any kind on Instagram, with 4.81 million followers and 2,561 posts. That is nearly double her YouTube subscriber count, and it is the clearest single data point on this page. Her audience finds her here and then goes to YouTube to sit through the full song. Her most viewed recent post is a reel of her performing at Vibrant Gujarat in Rajkot in front of the Prime Minister, which pulled 8.2 million plays and 812 thousand likes.
The business model sits in plain sight in her bio. There is a phone number, and next to it the words live show and paid promotion. No agency, no email form, no press contact. A folk singer in Kutch who once needed a promoter to reach a village committee in Leicester now needs a phone that rings. Instagram did not change what she sells. It removed everyone who used to stand between her and the buyer.
Instagram: @geetabenrabariofficial (verified 2026-07-29).
2Kinjal Dave
Kinjal Dave sits second at 3.12 million followers, and her feed is unusual for a singer of that size because it is written almost entirely in Gujarati script. Her post after the Surat Navratri run reads that the ten days of Navratri felt like ten seconds, and it thanks the Surti crowd, the event company and her own team by name. That reel drew 4.0 million plays. The Ahmedabad equivalent, captioned with the line that the end of the world is home, drew 1.17 million.
What that reveals is a geography. Kinjal Dave does not post to a generic Indian audience, she posts to specific cities on specific nights, and the caption changes when the ground changes. Her bio carries a show enquiry number and a link to her own YouTube channel, which places Instagram first in the chain and the video platform second. For a garba singer whose year is decided by nine nights, that ordering is the entire strategy.
Instagram: @thekinjaldave (verified 2026-07-29).
3Jignesh Barot
Jignesh Barot, known across Saurashtra as Kaviraj, has 2.12 million followers and 3,067 posts, which is one of the highest posting rates of any large Gujarati account. His profile is verified and the bio is four words long: paid promotion, show enquiries. Everything else is the work.
His Instagram footprint is bigger than his own grid suggests, because he is one of the most tagged artists in the Gujarati music economy. Saregama Gujarati announces his new releases on its own account, and a UK promoter has him headlining Nehda Ni Vaato dayro nights in London and Leicester in August 2026 alongside Rajbha Gadhvi. That is what a Gujarati folk career looks like in 2026: a verified handle at the centre and a ring of labels, promoters and diaspora event companies all posting your face.
Instagram: @jigneshbarotofficial (verified 2026-07-29).
4Kirtidan Gadhvi
Kirtidan Gadhvi has 2.10 million followers against 937 thousand YouTube subscribers, the widest Instagram to YouTube gap of any performer on this page. He posts constantly, 4,221 times in total, and the recent grid is a working diary rather than a highlights reel. A Guru Purnima devotional reel on 28 July 2026 pulled 439 thousand plays. The post underneath it is a plain announcement that the Guru Purnima Lokdayro is happening in Thane, Maharashtra, tomorrow.
That second post is the more interesting one. It has no production value and no hook. It is a Gujarati folk singer telling his Maharashtra diaspora where to turn up. His bio calls him the Dandiya King and lists a phone number for paid collaboration, which means the whole funnel from awareness to booking runs through a single app. Two million followers is not the achievement here. Two million followers who can find out where he is playing tomorrow night is the achievement.
Instagram: @kirtidangadhviofficial (verified 2026-07-29).
5Kajal Maheriya
Kajal Maheriya has 2.09 million followers and describes herself in her bio as The Official Profile Folk Singer, with a show booking number, a devotional invocation to Vihat and Sikotar, and the words Jay Bhim. Very few artist profiles in India carry a caste politics signature and a booking number in the same eight lines. Hers does, without apology, and her audience grew anyway.
Her feed on 28 July 2026 was posted from Sydney. Her new single Mann Moti Ne Kanch was pushed the day before by T-Series Gujarati to its own audience. Put those two facts together and you get the shape of her career: a Gujarati folk voice with a label distribution deal on one side and an Australian tour on the other, running both through a profile that still books shows on a mobile number. In 2025 a national outlet reported her Instagram following as a reason she was being discussed as a political candidate, which is a strange sentence to write about a singer and a completely normal one to write about a Gujarati folk singer.
Instagram: @thekajalmaheriya (verified 2026-07-29).
6Aditya Gadhvi
Aditya Gadhvi's Instagram behaves nothing like his YouTube. On YouTube he has released seventy videos in fourteen years, a monk's release schedule. On Instagram he has posted 4,055 times. The same artist runs a scarce catalogue on one platform and an open diary on the other, and the diary is where the 1.72 million followers live.
The two biggest posts on that diary are not songs. One is a set of photographs from the night the Ambani family sang happy birthday to him, captioned in Gujarati and liked 552 thousand times. The other is a selfie with the Prime Minister, captioned in Gujarati with the detail that he was asked how his father was doing, liked 355 thousand times. Khalasi made him a national name. Instagram is where he keeps proving to a Gujarati audience that the national name did not take him away from them.
Instagram: @adityagadhviofficial (verified 2026-07-29).
7Gaman Santhal
Gaman Santhal has 1.36 million followers from only 362 posts, the leanest grid of any million follower Gujarati account on this list. His recent posts are captioned with three words or fewer, usually Jay Deepo Maa, and one such post from March 2026 still collected 947 thousand plays and 92 thousand likes. He is not writing for the algorithm. He is putting up the performance and letting the devotional circuit carry it.
The bio is equally spare: official account, an email for paid promotion and show enquiries, and the invocation again. His external link points at his own YouTube channel, which has 1.07 million subscribers, so here the Instagram audience is slightly larger than the video one but the two are close. That balance is what a devotional singer looks like next to a garba singer. Bhakti audiences watch the full recording. Garba audiences want the clip.
Instagram: @gamansanthal72 (verified 2026-07-29).
8Aishwarya Majmudar
Aishwarya Majmudar has 1.09 million followers and 5,750 posts, the largest archive of any musician on this page. She is the one artist here whose feed reads in English while the work stays Gujarati, which makes sense for a singer whose Navratri tour is called Rangtaali and whose 2026 dates started in Auckland before touching Ahmedabad.
The tour announcement reel from June 2026 drew 443 thousand plays and asked one question in the caption: are we coming to your city. The Auckland post a month later thanked the crowd and named the photographer. That is the whole engine. A Gujarati garba singer with a diaspora tour uses Instagram as a route map, and the comment section under a single reel does the job that a promoter's mailing list used to do for the entire overseas circuit.
Instagram: @aishwarya_tm (verified 2026-07-29).
Comedy and sketch
Gujarati comedy on Instagram runs on a different unit than it does on YouTube. YouTube rewards the eight minute sketch and the numbered web series. Instagram rewards the joke that survives being watched with the sound off in a Surat office. The creators below have all learnt to write for both, and the ones who write for the second one better are the ones whose Instagram numbers outrun their subscriber counts.
9Dev Raval
Dev Raval is the largest individual Gujarati comedy creator on Instagram at 1.62 million followers, and he is also the most efficient anywhere on this page. He has posted 158 times. That is it. A reel from 26 July 2026 about the state of his finances pulled 1.09 million plays, and one from the next day about girlfriends and boyfriends pulled 1.26 million. Nearly every upload clears a million.
His bio is written in Gujarati and says his target is a little space in your phone and in your heart. Under it sits a link to Kapdagram, the clothing label he runs, and a tagged manager. That is the modern Gujarati creator stack in three lines: the language, the affection, the shop. He does not use Instagram to advertise his YouTube channel. He uses it to sell clothes to the audience the jokes brought in.
Instagram: @dev_ravall (verified 2026-07-29).
10Radhika Dihora
Radhika Dihora labels herself a Gujarati Creator in her own display name, which is rarer than it sounds. Most creators from the state lead with the format and mention the language later, if at all. She leads with it. 387 thousand followers, 1,739 posts, verified, and a stated mix of comedy, couple content and daily life shot in Ahmedabad.
Her captions are written in full Gujarati paragraphs rather than hashtag soup, and the two that travelled furthest were not comedy at all. One was a farewell note to the departing Ahmedabad traffic commissioner that drew 47 thousand likes. The other was about meeting the Chief Minister as part of a state programme called Gujarat Social Media Champions. That combination, daily jokes plus civic proximity, is a distinctly Gujarati creator position and it does not exist on YouTube in the same way.
Instagram: @radhika.dihora (verified 2026-07-29).
11Manan Desai
Manan Desai co-founded The Comedy Factory in 2011 and effectively invented the Gujarati stand up circuit. His personal handle carries 343 thousand followers, less than the collective's 589 thousand, which is the usual shape for a founder who built an institution rather than a personality. His bio is one line and it is a mission statement: nomad taking Gujarati culture and entertainment worldwide.
His two highest performing posts are both clips of Gujarati stand up. Kothli Chronicles pulled 3.54 million plays and 262 thousand likes. A bit built on the Gujarati saying that a mother is a mother and everyone else is the wind through the trees pulled 1.47 million. Both are Gujarati language sets, both pushed to a streaming app in the caption. This is a comedian using Instagram as the top of a funnel that ends in a paid ticket or a paid app, and the jokes stay in Gujarati the whole way down.
Instagram: @instafunny_manan (verified 2026-07-29).
12Dhaval Domadiya
Dhaval Domadiya is the reverse case on this page. He has 1.84 million YouTube subscribers and 324 thousand Instagram followers, a ratio of nearly six to one in favour of video. Saurashtra family comedy is long form by nature. The joke needs a courtyard, a wife, a mother and about four minutes, and none of that compresses into a reel without losing the thing that makes it work.
What he does use Instagram for is the family itself. His most engaged recent post is a birthday poem to his wife written in Gujarati verse, liked 32 thousand times, and his own birthday was marked on her account rather than his. His bio contains a single folded hands emoji and a link to a family vlog channel. For a creator whose comedy is about domestic life, the platform where you simply live your domestic life in public is a supporting act, not the main stage. He is one of the few here who has that priority the right way round for his format.
Instagram: @dhaval_domadiya (verified 2026-07-29).
13Chirayu Mistry
Chirayu Mistry calls himself Hasya Samraat in a two line bio whose second line is just a ticket link. He has 291 thousand followers and has been with The Comedy Factory since 2015, which makes him one of the longest serving working comics in the language. His Instagram is where the touring life is documented rather than where the comedy is performed.
The post that shows the ceiling of Gujarati comedy is his write up of a Lavari Show night at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, two and a half hours in front of a diaspora crowd, thanking the American promoters for supporting Gujarati humour and calling The Comedy Factory home for Gujaratis away from home. The post that shows the ceiling moving is the other one, announcing his first Hindi screenwriting credit as additional dialogue writer on a Diwali release. A Gujarati comic can now use one profile to sell a Gujarati show in New Jersey and announce a Bollywood credit in Mumbai.
Instagram: @chirayu_m (verified 2026-07-29).
Food
Food is the category where Instagram loses to YouTube, and the numbers are not close. All three creators here are far bigger on video than on reels, because a recipe is a process and a process needs runtime. What Instagram gives them instead is a face, a personality and a route into a conversation that a recipe page cannot start.
14Nehas Cook Book
Nehas Cook Book is the largest Gujarati food account on Instagram at 1.19 million followers, and it is also the busiest account on this entire page with 5,887 posts. The captions are written in Gujarati script and are ruthlessly practical. A box full of kopra pak. Farali pattice for Shravan. Every one of them ends with the same block of links to the website, the Facebook page and the YouTube channel.
That repetition is the point. She has 2.79 million YouTube subscribers, more than double her Instagram following, and Instagram exists to feed the places she owns outright. A reel of kopra pak drew 70 thousand plays, which for an account of this size is modest, and it does not matter, because the reel was never trying to be the meal. It was the smell coming out of the kitchen window.
Instagram: @nehascookbook (verified 2026-07-29).
15Gujju Ben na Nasta
Urmila Asher runs Gujju Ben na Nasta and her verified bio is the shortest resume with the longest reach on this page: top sixteen finalist on MasterChef India 2023, TEDx speaker at AIIMS Patna, Forbes 50 Over 50 for 2025, and the line she is best known for, YouTuber at 78. She has 297 thousand followers, fewer than several comedians here, and a cultural weight none of them touch.
Her Instagram is doing something none of the other food accounts attempt. Instead of only recipes, it carries her, including a long English tribute to her grandmother that reads like an essay rather than a caption. A podcast host who interviewed her posted that Urmila started her business, became an influencer and became a motivational speaker all after the age of seventy five, and that clip alone drew 273 thousand plays. Her account is proof that on Instagram a story can be a bigger asset than a catalogue.
Instagram: @gujjubennanasta (verified 2026-07-29).
16Sheetal's Kitchen
Sheetal runs a 1.72 million subscriber Gujarati cooking channel and a 237 thousand follower Instagram account, the widest platform gap of anyone on this list. She names the channel and its subscriber count directly in her bio, which is how the account was confirmed as hers. Her Instagram is not a second kitchen. It is a shop window with the channel's address written on the glass.
The strategy inside it is visible in the numbers. Her Gujarati captioned reel for kanda dal na samosa pulled 492 thousand plays and 8,858 likes. Her English captioned peri peri paneer slider pulled 81 thousand plays and 1,929 likes. Six times the reach for the recipe written in the language of the people who actually cook it. Every Gujarati creator debating whether to switch to English captions for reach should look at those two numbers next to each other.
Instagram: @sheetalkitchen (verified 2026-07-29).
Fitness and travel inside Gujarat
These two categories are thin in Gujarati and that is exactly why they are interesting. Both creators below found an audience by refusing to switch languages in a niche where every competitor at their size works in English or Hindi.
17Shravan Rajani
Shravan Rajani runs Gujarati Health and Fitness, and the pitch in his bio is one of the cleanest positioning statements in Indian creator marketing: free health and fitness tips, only in Gujarati. Then, because he is Gujarati, he adds a nickname, Fitness na Motabhai. 378 thousand followers on a verified account, 448 posts, plus a website that serves its content in Gujarati at a dedicated language path.
The content itself is unglamorous by design. A recent carousel is a calorie chart for daily Indian food, broken down per rotli by grain, per raita by vegetable, per dal by bowl. Wheat rotli 120 kcal, jowar 100, ragi 90. No transformation photos, no gym theatre. His second account posts the emotional line in Gujarati that changing your body is hard but living with regret is harder. He built a fitness following of nearly four hundred thousand by treating Gujarati speakers as adults with kitchens rather than as an audience to be shouted at.
Instagram: @gujaratihealthandfitness (verified 2026-07-29).
18The Gujarati Traveller
Vidhi and Jay run The Gujarati Traveller from Gandhinagar, a verified account with 151 thousand followers built on budget travel and hidden gems in Gujarat and beyond. The introduction post they made at their hundredth upload is written half in English and half in Gujarati, thanking followers for the love received in ninety nine posts and then introducing themselves as, in their own words, this wandering couple. It drew 182 thousand plays.
Two things make them worth a place here over larger travel accounts. First, only 282 posts, which means a deliberate pace rather than a daily reel treadmill. Second, the Gujarat government recognised them as Social Media Champions and they were received by the Chief Minister as travel content creators. A state actively promoting its own tourism through Gujarati speaking creators is a specific and fairly new thing, and this account is the clearest example of it working.
Instagram: @thegujaratitraveller (verified 2026-07-29).
Money and business in Gujarati
Gujarat runs on trade and has done for four hundred years, so the surprise is not that finance creators exist in Gujarati. The surprise is how few of them are large. These are the two that cleared the language check at scale.
19Gujrati Trader
Gujrati Trader is the largest Gujarati language finance account found in this research, with 460 thousand followers on a verified profile whose display name is written in Gujarati script. The bio is a small piece of copywriting: if you know Gujarati, you know the stock market. From IPO to futures and options. A strong stomach plus a calm mind equals a successful trader. The chart speaks and I listen.
The most watched posts on the account are not trade calls. They are fraud warnings. One reel telling followers that nobody should send money to anyone using his name pulled 331 thousand plays, and a second listing his exact handles, spellings and team phone numbers so impersonators can be spotted pulled 248 thousand. When a Gujarati speaking retail audience discovers markets through a single trusted face, the biggest risk to that audience is a fake version of the face. He spends his reach defending against that, which tells you more about the state of vernacular finance content than any teaching reel would.
Instagram: @gujrati_trader (verified 2026-07-29).
20Akash Ukani
Akash Ukani is the smallest account on this page and it is here because of what it is rather than how big it is. 100 thousand followers on a verified profile, 918 posts, and a body of work he describes in his own milestone post as documenting the journeys of more than a hundred entrepreneurs through factory tours and podcasts. In a state where the family business is the default career, a Gujarati language founder interview series is a genuine gap being filled.
The tone is worth noting because it is unusual for the category. One reel is a Gujarati couplet about the road opening new paths every day and the question of who he is, signed with his own name. Another is a long announcement that he has paused the factory tours to build a venture of his own, and that the tours may return in a different format or not at all. Business content in Gujarati does not have to sound like a course being sold. This account is the proof, and it is the reason it outranks several bigger finance pages that could not clear the language check.
Instagram: @akasshukani (verified 2026-07-29).
Words, ideas and Gujarati literature
Gujarati has one of the oldest and most stubborn literary cultures in India, and it did not need Instagram. What Instagram gave it was a stage where a ghazal, a column and a motivational seminar all compete on the same scroll, in the same language, for the same nine seconds.
21Sanjay Raval
Sanjay Raval has 1.33 million Instagram followers and 384 thousand YouTube subscribers. That is a ratio of three and a half to one, the second widest gap on this page after Kirtidan Gadhvi, and it happens for a simple reason. A speaker's product is a line, not a lecture. Instagram is a machine for distributing lines.
His bio states one mission and one vision, skill India, and says he is building India's second largest skill university. The recent feed is not what you expect from that sentence. On 27 July 2026 he posted a clip that pulled 83 thousand plays. On 28 July he posted about running three HYROX races in two days, men's doubles, men's relay and men's open singles, with the note that consistency always wins. A Gujarati motivational speaker in his fifties using his own fitness results as the proof of his own thesis is better content strategy than most agencies would draft for him.
Instagram: @sanjaymsraval (verified 2026-07-29).
22Jay Vasavada
Jay Vasavada writes one of the most read columns in Gujarat Samachar and has 389 thousand Instagram followers across 6,086 posts, the largest archive of any writer on this page. His bio is a list of appetites rather than credentials: author, speaker, traveller, moviebuff, artcrazy, foodie, bookworm, beautylover. Nothing about awards. Nothing about circulation.
The feed behaves like his column. A post from 28 July 2026 runs to several hundred words of Gujarati prose about an evening in Paris with a friend who drove up from the south of France, a Michelin starred vegetarian restaurant, the rebuilt Notre Dame and a fruit dessert stall, all written in the same conversational Gujarati he uses in print. Ninety seven likes on that post. Meanwhile a photography studio in Bardoli posts about him speaking at the thirteenth Sardar Sangoshthi and gets ten thousand plays. The lesson is not that his own posts underperform. It is that his audience consumes him as an event, and Instagram is where the events get archived.
Instagram: @jayvasavada.jv (verified 2026-07-29).
23Dhvanit Thaker
Dhvanit Thaker spent years as Ahmedabad's best known radio voice and his verified Instagram account carries 377 thousand followers with sixty posts on it. Sixty. For a broadcaster with that history, an almost empty grid is not neglect, it is an edit. The bio reads existence is co-existence and gives an email address at deardhvanit, which is the name of the second act.
What survives on the main account is Gujarati. A May 2026 post shares the song Hansa from the Gujarati film Dhabkaro, with a caption saying he heard it, it touched him, and he wanted to pass it on, and if it does not land then he apologises. It drew 103 thousand plays. On the Dear Dhvanit handle a workshop clip asking whether business exists for people or people for business drew a million plays and 43 thousand likes. A radio jockey who once had a city's morning slot now has a smaller, older, quieter feed and a Gujarati question that a million people stopped to answer.
Instagram: @dhvanitthaker (verified 2026-07-29).
24Kaajal Oza Vaidya
Kaajal Oza Vaidya is the most widely read living Gujarati novelist and her verified account, at 296 thousand followers, describes her in a single line as author, actor, model, orator and visiting faculty. The external link on the profile does not point to a book. It points to a ticket page for An Evening With Krishna, her long running stage programme.
That link tells you how Gujarati literature actually monetises in 2026, and it is not through royalties. It is through the hall. Her Instagram presence is amplified less by her own posts than by everyone around her: her Satyajit Trust ran a painting exhibition at the Gufa in Ahmedabad featuring work by her son, and a senior Gujarat politician posted his own Gujarati write up of visiting it. A novelist whose orbit includes trusts, exhibitions and ministers is not using Instagram as a book promotion channel. She is using it as a public record of a literary life that happens offline.
Instagram: @kaajalov (verified 2026-07-29).
25Ankit Trivedi
Ankit Trivedi is the only working Gujarati poet on this list and his display name says so outright: Ankit Trivedi, Gujarati Poet. 206 thousand followers, 3,709 posts, verified, and a bio that opens with a crown emoji and the word Ghazalsamrat before listing poet, author, columnist, speaker and program designer.
His reels are literary criticism performed at reel length and they work. One introduces a Harindra Dave lyric composed by Dilip Dholakiya and sung by Lata Mangeshkar, argues that hardly a Gujarati exists who has not heard it, and notes that the village fair the song describes no longer exists while the ache it produces still does. Another reads Venibhai Purohit and Jagdish Joshi on the subject of evening, with the line that in the city dusk never falls, night simply arrives. That one drew 19 thousand likes. Gujarati poetry did not need Instagram to survive. It needed somebody willing to read it aloud on it.
Instagram: @kaviankittrivedi (verified 2026-07-29).
What the numbers say
Most followed Gujarati Instagram creators, captured 29 July 2026
Every follower count here was scraped from the live Instagram profile on 29 July 2026 and is shown to three significant figures. Instagram follower counts move every single day and large accounts can swing by tens of thousands inside a week, so this is a snapshot of 29 July 2026 and not a permanent order. Creators whose profile returned a scraping restriction instead of a number were left off the chart rather than estimated.
Questions people actually ask
Who is the most followed Gujarati creator on Instagram?
Geeta Rabari, with 4.81 million followers as of 29 July 2026. She is a Kutchi folk and garba singer whose Instagram audience is close to double her 2.56 million YouTube subscriber base. Kinjal Dave is second at 3.12 million and Jignesh Barot third at 2.12 million.
Why do Gujarati folk singers have more Instagram followers than YouTube subscribers?
Because discovery and consumption happen on different platforms. A garba clip, a tour date and a booking number all fit inside Instagram, so that is where audiences find a singer and where shows get sold. The full song, the dayro and the recorded concert sit on YouTube. Geeta Rabari, Kirtidan Gadhvi and Aditya Gadhvi are all roughly twice as large on Instagram as on YouTube, while food and education creators such as Nehas Cook Book and Sheetal are the exact reverse.
How current are these follower counts?
They were scraped from each live Instagram profile on 29 July 2026 and nothing here was copied from an analytics site or a listicle. Instagram counts change daily, so expect drift on every number, particularly on the accounts above one million where a single viral reel can add tens of thousands of followers in a day. Treat the ranking as accurate for 29 July 2026 and approximate afterwards.
Which Gujarati creators are worth following outside music and comedy?
Gujrati Trader teaches the stock market entirely in Gujarati to 460 thousand followers. Shravan Rajani gives free fitness and nutrition coaching in Gujarati to 378 thousand. Ankit Trivedi reads and unpacks Gujarati ghazal and geet for 206 thousand, and The Gujarati Traveller documents budget travel inside Gujarat for 151 thousand. These four categories are far less crowded than garba or comedy, which is exactly why the accounts in them grow.
Why are some famous Gujarat based influencers missing from this list?
Two reasons. Several large Gujarat rooted accounts caption entirely in Hindi or English rather than Gujarati, including Bhumir Raval at 416 thousand followers, Rutvik Dhagiya at 444 thousand and Foodie Gujarati at 656 thousand, so they failed the publishing language check. Others could not be scraped cleanly, most notably Jigardan Gadhavi, whose verified profile returned a restriction instead of a follower count on 29 July 2026, so no number could be confirmed and the entry was dropped rather than estimated.
